<p>The Israel Police is completing its preparations ahead of the state visit of US President Donald Trump, which is expected to take place this coming Monday. Thousands of police officers, Border Police troops, and volunteers will be deployed throughout the day to secure the event and maintain public order.</p><p>Operation “Blue Shield 6” will be conducted under the command of Police Commissioner Dani Levy and led by senior police officials. The main preparations will focus on the Ben Gurion Airport area, the Jerusalem District, and the main routes leading to the city. During the visit, significant traffic disruptions and road closures are expected, and the public is urged to stay updated through ongoing police announcements. In addition, the operation of any aircraft, including drones, is strictly prohibited in the airspace over Ben Gurion Airport and Jerusalem.</p>

<p>Sirens were sounded in the community of Kochav Hashachar in Samaria due to a suspected terrorist infiltration.</p><p>The Home Front Command has instructed residents to immediately enter a protected space, securely lock the door, and stay below the window line. Residents must not leave the protected space until receiving an official notification from the authorities.</p>

<p>The government approved the framework for the release of all hostages - both the living and the deceased., the Prime Minister's Office stated.</p>

Ministers Bezalel Smotrich, Orit Strock, Itamar Ben Gvir, and Yitzhak Wasserlauf voted against the deal to release the hostages. Minister Ofir Sofer from the Religious Zionist Party voted in favor.

The US is deploying 200 troops to Israel to monitor Gaza ceasefire and aid flow, as part of Trump’s peace plan. Troops will coordinate with allies and IDF, but won’t enter Gaza.
